New theme! The first since April 7, 2014. That’s 95 days (or 8,208,000 seconds)!
Anyways, it’s called Oxygen, and it’s airy, responsive, and super-customizable.
Features
Clean and minimalistic
Responsive Two-column Layout
3 Header styles - Blank, Image, and Accent
Like and Reblog Buttons
Custom Fonts from Google Web Fonts
Disqus and Google Analytics Support
Works with Tumblr Global Styles
Built with Bootstrap
Install it here

P.S. So Pro will no longer be available in the Tumblr theme garden. I’m doing this so I can focus on even better themes. :)
You can still find the source on GitHub if you wish to.

Use font icons on Tumblr

pictonicco:

Embedding icon fonts in tumblr can be tricky, mostly because Firefox doesn’t allow font files to be hosted from an external domain and Tumblr requires all files to be hosted from it’s own static folder. The workaround is to use base64 encode, as detailed in the following steps. You can also use the following steps to embed custom fonts in Tumblr themes.

1) Download icon package from Pictonic and unzip

This post (and IcoMoon) just saved me a lot of frustration. Thanks guys! :)

Google Chrome is the new Internet Explorer.
No really, it wrecks fonts (at least on Windows), doesn’t show Entypo icons, and now even messes up webpages! Just like ye olde IE < 9 days, amirite?
(Had to use position:absolute on the nav to fix this, if anyone’s wondering. Also notice the off-position search button.)

Ask your local gamer if they can install 8 high end video cards on a cell phone. Ask your local manufacturer if they can run their industrial supply line off of an iPad. Ask a movie junky if they can put their 60 terabyte RAID array in an e-Reader.

Some idiots realized all they ever used a computer for was looking at pictures of cats and random clips from “Family Guy”, and replaced it with a mobile device. That does not, by any stretch of the imagination, mean that the PC is dead.

So, I finally got around to redesigning my site. :)
